Families from Ukraine are Welcomed in Our Retreat House in Paderborn
The sad situation of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine has forced many families to leave their homes and seek refuge far from their homeland. Many mothers with their children, whose fathers remained in the Ukraine to defend the country, came to Germany. This is the case of several mothers who stayed with their children in our Retreat House in Paderborn.
It was a privilege for us to be able to help these families. The Sisters welcomed them with open arms and thanks to all the help received, we were able to provide them with the most necessary things. The city of Paderborn will find them a home and a job. In the meantime, the Sisters help the children to learn German and support them in their school work.
